Last week, the METAVISION was proudly represented at the Forum Acusticum Euronoise 2025 conference, held in Málaga, Spain—one of Europe’s most prestigious events in the field of acoustics. Held under the joint banner of the European Acoustics Association, the conference brought together leading experts, researchers, and innovators from across the continent.

As part of the program, a dedicated METAVISION-structured session titled “Metamaterials for Noise and Vibration Reduction: Novel Applications and Experimental Methods” was also held. It included a total of 16 contributions—9 from METAVISION DCs and 7 from external, non-METAVISION contributors. This session offered an excellent opportunity to highlight the scientific progress made within the METAVISION project and to explore innovative applications of acoustic metamaterials.

Beyond the presentations, the conference offered a unique opportunity for the METAVISION team to engage in meaningful discussions with fellow researchers, share ideas, and establish new collaborations. These exchanges are vital in fostering innovation and ensuring the METAVISION remains at the forefront of European acoustic research.

We are excited about the insights gained and the connections made during the event in Málaga, and we look forward to integrating this momentum into our ongoing work.
