From 16 to 26 March 2026, our METAVISION doctoral candidates Alara Karaman Alexander Kryuchkov, Line Mardini and Yves Pillot visited Hamburg for their demonstrator secondment at Airbus.

During their stay, the team built and tested a vibro-acoustic metamaterial solution aimed at improving sound insulation in an aircraft cabin by treating the side wall panel. The promising results of this secondment will be presented at the ISMA2026 conference this fall.
