METAVISION Doctoral Network Holds 6th General Assembly in Leuven
The 6th General Assembly of the METAVISION Doctoral Network took place on 30 January 2026 in Leuven, Belgium, bringing together project partners, beneficiaries, and doctoral candidates for a full day of discussion, exchange, and collaboration.
Ahead of the General Assembly, participants from METRAMAT, GAP-NOISE, and METAVISION took part in a two-day Project Pitching Training hosted by LMSD, KU Leuven. The training focused on the importance of tailoring research communication to diverse audiences and featured several rounds of presentations followed by constructive feedback.
The sessions concluded with an engaging pitching competition, where Jiahua, Sara, and Sameer were selected as the winners. In addition to the training activities, doctoral candidates had the opportunity to socialise and unwind during a fun evening of laser tag, further strengthening connections across the networks.
The ongoing collaboration between the METRAMAT, GAP-NOISE, and METAVISION projects continues to build strong synergies across research themes and opens up new opportunities for shared learning and growth.
We extend our sincere thanks to the KU Leuven team for their excellent organisation and to all participants who contributed to the success of this General Assembly.
